DescriptionPosition Summary:
This position reports to the Chief People Officer and is responsible for delivering HR support, including new hire orientation, to employees and managers throughout the Company through efficient and high-quality operational systems and processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Assist in the full hiring process of employees: advertisements, qualifying resumes, scheduling interviews, verifying work-history and references and tracking of new possible candidates
- Coordinates new-employee onboarding, creating new employee files, administering employee handbooks and ensuring all necessary paperwork is properly filled out and submitted to appropriate persons
- Processes weekly temporary associate timecards
- Maintains relationships with local staffing partners
- Assists the department with HR projects
- Performs a wide range of duties relative to the maintenance and processing of personnel records and reports
- Provides clerical and operational support to other human resource staff.
- Provides guidance to team members in all departments on issues ranging from benefits to employee relations to employment related matters
- Must be willing to learn and at times take critical feedback
- Must be interacting with shop floor team members daily in their work environment (Production Floor)
QualificationsQualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated record of accomplishment in supporting a human resources function within a fast‑paced, multi‑faceted environment. Experience in manufacturing or warehousing is highly desired. We are seeking an individual with an uncommon balance of creativity and drive, strong interpersonal skills, and a solid foundation in basic analytics. Additionally, this candidate must demonstrate a high sense of urgency and the ability to effectively partner with operations to help drive success on the production floor.
Education & Experience:
- 2-4years’ HR experience required; exposure to industrial setting is desirable
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred
- Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment as well as the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work time efficiently
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- SHRM-CP a plus.

Physical Demands:
- Low physical effort required to sit, stand at files, bend, stoop, lift, and walk.
