Description

 

We are looking for an experienced and driven Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role is essential to the effective operation of our facility and is responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and performance management. In addition to core HR responsibilities, this position will assist with general administrative support and ensure alignment with corporate HR initiatives and company-wide objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, background checks, and onboarding processes. 
  • Administer employee benefits programs and act as a point of contact for employee questions related to benefits and company policies.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees regarding employee relations, ensuring consistent and fair application of company policies.
  • Assist with the implementation and monitoring of performance management processes including reviews, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely data entry in HRIS systems.
  • Ensure facility compliance with all federal, state, and local employment regulations and corporate policies.
  • Collaborate with plant leadership and corporate HR on initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture.
  • Support payroll administration, conduct timekeeping audits, and compile HR metrics and reporting as required.
  • Assist with corporate-driven projects and programs, including safety initiatives, audits, policy rollouts, training, and other special assignments that contribute to organizational goals.

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, and 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Solid understanding of employment laws and HR best practices (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, etc.).
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience working with HRIS systems required.
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
  • Familiarity with Paylocity HRIS is a plus.
Salary Description
70k to 95k, depending on experience
