Job Summary: 

This is a full-time, on-site Human Resources Generalist position located in Colorado Springs, CO. The HR Generalist will oversee the employee experience, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and benefits administration. This is a great opportunity for an individual passionate about fostering an exceptional employee experience and implementing HR best practices across the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitors compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local laws as well as regulations from applicable agencies. 
  • Compiles and maintains personnel files, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, resignations, terminations, and extended leaves of absence.
  • Conducts or assists with record audits and mandatory reports, which may include I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings, payroll audits, and other compliance reviews.
  • Conducts new hire and onboarding processes, including review of company policies, processing of new hire paperwork and completion of orientation.  
  • Assists with the administration of employee benefits. 
  • Informs payroll department of any changes to employee status and monitors accuracy of payroll. 
  • Receives and addresses employee questions regarding company policies, procedures, and benefit plans. 
  • Responsible for initiating background check screening and conducting reference checks of candidates.
  • Schedules and monitors various training programs. 
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, and professional certifications.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Preferred Qualifications:

  •  Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws.
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  •  Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  •  Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.
  •  Proficient with ADP.


Education/Experience:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree
  •  Two or more years of related experience


Salary Note:
