Join Our Team as an HR Generalist:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to deliver comprehensive HR support across payroll, benefits administration, and recruitment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance, enhancing employee experience, and supporting operational excellence in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
Reports to: Director of Human Resources
Key Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time.
- Audit timecards for PTO, missed punches, and corrections.
- Manage payroll adjustments including garnishments, retro pay, and bonuses.
- Maintain payroll records in accordance with company policies and labor laws.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits-related questions.
- Support open enrollment and employee education initiatives.
- Reconcile monthly benefits invoices and ensure accurate payroll deductions.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, ERISA, and ACA regulations.
- Source candidates through job boards, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, and support hiring managers.
- Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruitment metrics.
- Coordinate onboarding schedules and ensure a seamless new hire experience.
- Manage workers’ compensation claims and coordinate with third-party administrators.
- Track injury reports and maintain OSHA 300/301 logs.
- Support return-to-work plans and modified duty assignments.
- Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and related safety documentation.
- Partner with Operations on toolbox talks and safety compliance audits.
