HR Generalist

 The Conrad Company, a Kick@$$ family-owned business is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
• Maintain employee records and payroll data with accuracy and confidentiality
• Process Payroll biweekly
• Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and inquiries
• Assist with performance management processes and employee development initiatives
• Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Participate in employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution
• Contribute to HR projects such as engagement surveys, and training programs
• Prepare HR reports and metrics for leadership as needed
• Assist with Unemployment
• Assist with coordinating DOT Physicals and Drug Tests
• Assist with administering STD/LTD and LOA/FMLA
• Assist with Workers Comp administration

• 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist capacity
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, BambooHR)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
• Ability to visit sites outside of York, PA.
