Description

Prisma is a growing marketing logistics company which provides commercial printing services to large companies worldwide.  Based in Phoenix, Arizona, Prisma has a total of six locations.  We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our location in and support our Austin location in Texas.  As the Human Resources Generalist, you will be a business partner facilitating all aspects of HR support for approximately 150 employees.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine tasks required to execute human resource programs including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, workers compensation and training.
  • Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and work experience required.
  • Welcome and onboard new employees including I9 verification.
  • Provide HR guidance and policy interpretation for all employees.
  • Support facility leaders with coaching, counseling and correction action.
  • Attend and participate in employee corrective action meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Assist in the processing of FMLA and ADA requests.
  • Track compliance with mandatory training such as safety training, anti-harassment training.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Paycom experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Human Resource generalist with three to five years’ experience.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP preferred.

Other Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
  • Available to travel to other locations as needed.
