We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist with a strong background in payroll to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for human resources and a keen eye for detail when it comes to payroll processing.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of confidentiality when handling sensitive HR information and employee records
- Assist with timekeeping portions of payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to payroll and benefits
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance and other voluntary benefits
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding/processing of new/current employees
- Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed
- Maintain accurate and timely employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters
- Assist with performance management and employee relations issues
- Stay up-to-date on HR and payroll regulations and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- 5+ years of experience in HR and payroll administration
- Conduct yourself with a high level of professionalism in all situations
- Process Oriented and ability to create, follow, and improve processes
- Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations
- Experience with payroll software and HRIS systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
