Job Description

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Function as a Business Partner, providing consultation on a broad spectrum of HR issues and opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in HR service and performance through HR data analytics.
  •  In partnership with management and HR Directors, develop and maintain policies, procedures, and practices that are reflective of our culture and comply with various employment laws and regulations.
  • Conduct, track, analyze and report out on a number of Human Resource projects and initiatives that address retention, successioning, employee engagement and morale to ultimately drive change and improvement in HR’s service and the employee experience.
  • Assist in the facilitation of new hire on-boarding, data maintenance, and related compliance requirements; facilitate new hire orientations.
  • Provide Employee Relations Support to corporate headquarters and HR Directors, including performance management coaching, problem solving, and investigations.
  • Manage and administer the 90-day, mid-year, and year-end performance appraisal process, including training and coaching managers and administering training process.
  • Contribute to other Human Resources functions including compliance, recruiting, and reporting 
  • Any/all other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s Degree in related field; PHR certification preferred
  • Knowledge of multiple Human Resources disciplines; Knowledge of federal and state employment and benefit laws
  • Three to ten years of direct Human Resources experience with experience with emphasis on employee relations; business partner experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; demonstrated flexibility to handle multiple priorities
  • Computer literacy skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Google Apps; Proficiency of HRIS and ATS required; Experience with Taleo and ADP HRB preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations
  • Prior experience working in Head Start or early childhood education or related field a plus
  • Valid Driver’s license required; Some travel required
  • Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public
