NE Property Management is seeking a knowledgeable, organized, and people-focused Human Resources Generalist with experience supporting employee relations, compliance, and HR operations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Manage and execute daily Human Resources functions while serving as a key partner to leadership
• Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts including job postings, screening, interviewing, and coordinating hiring decisions
• Partner with department managers to understand workforce needs and job requirements
• Conduct or coordinate background checks, reference checks, and employment eligibility verifications
• Implement and manage new hire orientation and onboarding programs
• Communicate benefit offerings and assist employees with enrollment and benefits-related questions
• Administer employee leave programs including workers’ compensation, unemployment, and applicable leaves
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with federal and state requirements
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee and manager HR-related inquiries
• Support and advise managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, investigations, and terminations
• Lead employee disciplinary meetings, investigations, and corrective action processes
• Assist with training managers on hiring, performance management, employee relations, and compliance topics
• Implement and reinforce company culture, values, and HR policies
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Review and update HR policies and practices to ensure legal compliance and best practices
• Maintain current knowledge of HR trends, regulatory changes, and employment law developments
• Support employee recognition, engagement, and morale initiatives
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
• 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience
• Experience supporting employee relations, compliance, and performance management
• SHRM-CP preferred
• Paycom experience is required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
