As we continue to grow, we are looking for a high energy, self-motivated HR Generalist who works well independently and in a team setting, specifically for benefits and payroll.
GENERAL DUTIES:
· Responsible for payroll and all facets that are involved in processing on a weekly basis
· Assist employees and managers with time corrections, accrual entries and specialty data
· Change employees’ positions, titles, and labor allocations as requested
· Set up new employee classifications for access to the HRIS system
· Pull employee files upon termination and process in HRIS as well as all benefit programs
· Manage the HRIS to include new pay codes, creation of GL classifications and troubleshooting of incorrect processing
· Work with branches to ensure employees and managers are properly trained on the HRIS, benefit systems and company policies
· Receive, code and process monthly insurance and 401K invoices
· Answer questions from all new, current, and terminated employees concerning payroll and benefits
· Work with insurance providers and TPA to enact changes, update information and provide necessary training
· Generate reports on a weekly/monthly/yearly basis for management concerning the general ledger, 401K, payroll data and staffing numbers
· Conduct annual open enrollments for all employees
· Complete and send out monthly, employee cards for anniversaries and birthdays
· Collaborate with the 401k provider to upload transaction reports, generate error logs and conduct annual true up
· Administer COBRA benefit via contract company ensuring all legally required notifications are sent timely
· Verify all insurance data including online and via invoicing concerning new hire, terminations and amounts on a monthly basis
· Assist with company events including planning, set up, participation and clean up
· Participate in department meetings to collaborate and work on group activities
· Team up with accounting for biannual and annual year end reporting and audits
Requirements:
· Minimum of 5 years of direct human resource and HRIS experience
· Experience with insurance providers and 401K
· Ability to travel up to 25%
· Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of company information
· Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office products, Paycom experience a plus
· Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours with overtime as necessary
· Due to location of assigned work area, candidates must be able to repetitively climb a single flight of stairs
This position is a Monday to Friday from 8am until 5pm with overtime required when necessary
