Summary:

The HR Generalist (Bilingual) is responsible for executing a wide range of HR duties, including employee relations, policy interpretation, HR compliance, and talent management. This role supports both employees and managers by guiding HR policies and processes, and ensures consistent, fair, and legally compliant HR practices. This position supports our Spanish Fork Distribution Center and Mona Farm locations, as well as supporting virtually all other US Farm locations.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations concerns, escalating when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Assist in employee engagement initiatives and culture-building efforts
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover trends
  • Maintain and analyze HR metrics and reports for business insights
  • Support performance review and development processes
  • Support hiring managers with recruiting activities

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
  • Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and reporting tools
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written) — required for effective communication across the workforce

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2+ years of generalist or HR operations experience
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred

Required Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 2 years of HR experience in a support or generalist role
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required



Supervisory Responsibility:

This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

This job operates in an office environment at the warehouse and at the farm. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a laptop, desktop, smartphone, and photocopiers. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Essential oils are worn and/or diffused in the work environment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This position requires the incumbent to be physically present at the assigned worksites. The regular schedule is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an hour lunch, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work is required for Farm events or as job duties demand. Employees are also expected to work at the annual company convention.

Exact hour requirements can be reasonably modified as necessary for the business needs by the employee’s manager.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities of this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to type, file, and occasionally lift office supplies up to 20 pounds. The employee must be physically able to tolerate the scent of essential oils worn or diffused.
