Casino M8trix, a premier gaming and entertainment venue, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team to support a variety of human resources functions, with a strong emphasis on administering employee health benefits. The ideal candidate will bring a good understanding of HR practices, and will play a key role in ensuring employees receive timely, accurate, and supportive HR service.


Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position is between 84K to $100K annual salary, based on experience. This position is also eligible for the following benefits:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage all employee health benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and more
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, resolving issues with a high level of service and accuracy
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment processes, including system setup, employee communication, and vendor collaboration
  • Ensure compliance with ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, ERISA, and other applicable federal and state regulations
  • Maintain accurate benefits records in HRIS and prepare reports as needed
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including benefits orientation and termination of coverage
  • Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate deductions and timely processing
  • Assist with general HR tasks such recruitment and hiring, employee record management, employee relations, leave of absences, and more
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of four years of experience in benefit administration or HR Generalist roles with a strong focus on benefits 
  • Familiarity with benefit programs such as health insurance and leave management
  • Experience using HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, Paylocity) for employee and benefits enrollment 
  • Understanding of COBRA, FMLA, ACA, and other compliance requirements
  • High level of integrity and the ability to keep information confidential
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field is preferred

Language Skills:

Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
