Position Scope and Organizational Impact

Aligned Solutions is seeking an HR Generalist (Contract) for a well respected company. This temporary contract role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact as an HR Generalist within the Corporate Shared Services team. Guided by the Senior HR Business Partner, you will play a vital role in delivering key HR administrative and operational functions. Responsibilities include onboarding, supporting HR initiatives (such as open enrollment and bonus processes), employee relations, performance management, and engagement efforts. Working closely with both employees and management, you will help drive talent strategies and initiatives that align with organizational goals, fostering a cohesive and productive work environment.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide support to HR Business Partners, Recruiters, and Leaders on employee lifecycle processes, including job offers, onboarding, benefits, leaves, and issue resolution.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR-related questions.

  • Coordinate offboarding and position elimination activities, ensuring a professional and thoughtful process.

  • Partner with management, Legal, Benefits, and other internal teams on leave of absence and job accommodation requests; ensure proper documentation and compliance.

  • Support HR processes including performance reviews, bonus and merit cycles, salary adjustments, and open enrollment.

  • Promote an inclusive work environment and support team-building initiatives.

  • Assist with recruitment marketing, sourcing, and hiring projects as needed.

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and cross-functional teams.

  • Provide support to leadership on ad hoc business projects.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience

  • Prior experience as an HR Generalist, Employee Relations Specialist, or related HR/People Operations role.

  • Strong background in employee relations, conflict management, and employment law.

  • Experience with HRIS systems; Workday preferred.

  • Ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization and with external partners.

  • Experience with payroll, benefits, or open enrollment preferred.

  • Strong judgment and independent decision-making on complex people issues.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication, prioritization, and time management skills.

  • Experience handling sensitive information with confidentiality.

  • PHR certification preferred but not required.
