Description

PURPOSE
We are seeking a Human Resources professional to join our team at either the Coordinator or Generalist level. This role provides critical support across core HR functions including onboarding, employee lifecycle processes, policy administration, HRIS data maintenance, and compliance. The position reports directly to the SVP of Human Resources and offers exposure to high-level HR operations. The ideal candidate will thrive under pressure, operate independently, and demonstrate strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Level of responsibility will be aligned with experience

  • Coordinate employee onboarding, offboarding, and internal transfers

  • Maintain accurate employee records and data within the HRIS (Paycom experience preferred)

  • Draft and process employment-related documentation including offers, term letters, and job change forms

  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide clarification on HR policies and procedures

  • Support employee relations processes through documentation, scheduling, and file management

  • Assist in compiling HR reports, metrics, and audit data (e.g., turnover, headcount, compliance)

  • Prepare presentation materials, spreadsheets, and policy documents for review by executive leadership

  • Monitor and follow up on compliance deadlines (e.g., I-9s, acknowledgments, training)

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information at all times

  • Support cross-functional HR projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Coordinator-Level Requirements (Entry to Intermediate):

  • 1–2 years of administrative or HR support experience

  • Familiarity with U.S. employment laws and HR practices

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent communication and time management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred

Generalist-Level Requirements (Experienced):

  • 4–5+ years of HR experience including employee relations, policy administration, and HRIS maintenance

  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal direction

  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience preparing polished reports and presentations for senior leadership

  • Experience with HRIS systems; Paycom strongly preferred

  • Strong analytical, written, and interpersonal communication skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time to perform work on a PC.
  • Ability to communicate with others effectively to gather information and develop detailed proposals.
