Objective:    The HR Generalist must have outstanding analytical and communication skills. An HR Generalist is expected 

                  to be a conceptual thinker with strong organizational and conflict management skills. You will have excellent 

                  critical thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

  Minimum Requirements:

          BS degree in business or human resources required

          3 to 5 years of Human Resources experience, including a minimum of three years in an exempt role.


  Job Requirements:

          Strong knowledge of HR functions and best practices

          Knowledge and working experience with state and federal regulations (including OSHA)

          Proven analytical and decision making and problem resolution skills

          Meticulous attention to detail

          Strong customer orientation (internal and external)

          Advanced computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ADP experience helpful and preferred

          Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong presentation skills

          Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines

          Independent decision-making

          Ability to demonstrate complete discretion and confidentiality

          Models the teamwork philosophy

          Proactive problem solving


  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

          Assist with all internal and external HR related matters.

          Participate in developing processes and policies and equitably administer throughout organization.

          Recommend strategies to motivate and retain employees.

          Provide recruiting support for client group.

          Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.

          Manage HRIS and prepare reports.

          Perform new hire orientations and update records of new staff.

          Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.

          Ensure compliance with federal and state laws governing various aspects of HR.

          Administer all company leave programs to include DBL, WC, FMLA, PFL and Personal.

          Benefit administration; reconcile health insurance bills, enroll new hires, conduct open enrollment and correspond 

           with insurance carriers.

          Provide proactive day-to-day employee relations leadership and support to the manufacturing team, including 

           providing guidance and counseling to all employees in a confidential, timely and professional manner.

          Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training.

          Respond to all unemployment claims in a timely and adequate matter.

          Complete and submit all required annual reporting (ACA, EEO-1, 5500, OSHA) to ensure company compliance.

          Manage and promote company wellness programs.

          Performs other related duties as required and assigned.


Pay Range: $65,000-75,000

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
