HR Generalist

We are looking to hire an HR professional with at least 2-3 years of experience in the direct role. Managing systems such as, payroll, hiring processes, employee benefits, and more. This individual should be a problem solver who is open-minded with the ability to rationalize situationally and make logical decisions. As HR, you should possess the ability to communicate effectively, including in high-intensity or stressful situations. A high emotional intelligence level is required.

We are looking for a person with good time-management skills, who is organized, reliable, and is well versed in understanding Michigan labor and employment laws. At Alpine, we strive to support a positive work environment and are seeking candidates that lead by example, with the ability to collaborate with employees in various roles. Pay will be determined based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Advertise available jobs and screen and interview candidates
• Manage on-boarding and off-boarding of employees.
• Administer training for employees
• Maintain company handbook and policies
• Ensure compliance with clients, employment and labor laws
• Support company culture and morale
• Manage employee payroll and benefits
• Design and implement new trainings as necessary
• Provide a calm and focused energy for supporting our team
• Technologically inclined and well-versed with word, excel, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
