Our Company is a leading general contractor dedicated to delivering high-quality construction services. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and our supportive work environment. We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our HR team.

 

Job Description: As a Generalist, you will play a crucial role in our HR department, from onboarding new employees and managing insurance claims to recruiting and filing. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Source, screen, and interview candidates for various positions within the company.
    • Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations and onboarding processes.
    • Ensure a smooth transition for new employees into the company culture and their respective roles.

 

  • Insurance Claims Management:
    • Assist with handling and processing employee insurance claims efficiently and accurately.
    • Liaise with insurance providers to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
    • Maintain up-to-date records of all insurance claims and related documentation.

 

  • HR Generalist Responsibilities:
    • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
    • Provide support in employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management.
    • Conduct regular HR audits to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
    • Manage employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
    • Conduct regular audits of Records and report trends to Director.
    • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
    • Support payroll processing and benefits administration.
    • Stay current and updated with all labor laws applicable to the company.

 

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Generalist, Recruiter or in a similar HR role.

Strong understanding of HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding and general HR duties.

Familiarity with handling insurance claims is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Construction terminology and knowledge a plus.

Labor Law knowledge is a must.
