Summary 

The HR Generalist provides broad-based HR support across key functional areas including onboarding, compliance, employee relations, HR systems, and employee development initiatives. This position will play a role in ensuring consistent execution of HR processes, maintaining compliance, supporting HCM system initiatives, and driving program management for internships and leadership development. 

 

Areas of responsibilities may include but are not limited to: 

  • Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to implement process improvements, track HR initiatives, and uphold documentation standards.
  • Build and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for key HR processes and administrative workflows.
  • Support HR Business partners with employee relations processes and compliance.
  • Provide reporting and data analysis support by developing and generating reports from the Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
  • Support HCM system implementation and optimization projects, including data governance, and end-user training.
  • Administer and manage the internship program, including coordination with hiring managers, onboarding, engagement, and end-of-term assessments.
  • Administer components of internal Leadership Development Program including scheduling, communication, and tracking participation
  • Ensure employee records and data are accurately maintained within the HCM system and personnel files
  • Conduct I-9 document verification and maintain compliance with federal employment eligibility requirements.

 

 

Education, Skills, Experience, and Knowledge 

Required:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum two years of Human Resource experience, preferably as a Generalist, Early Careers, Operations Admin, or Talent Administrator. 
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data formatting and analysis)
  • Experience with HCM systems (UKG, ADP, SAP or similar)
  • Adaptable and quick to respond to shifting priorities or business needs with a positive, solution-focused attitude
  • Comfortable learning new systems and tools, particularly 
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices; keeps current with relevant trends and regulations
  • Takes initiative and works with autonomy while knowing when to seek guidance or ask questions
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

 

Preferred:  

  • 3 – 5 years experience in HR 
  • Experience with surveys and dashboard manipulation in Qualtrics 
  • Experience with Early Career or Internship programs – support, recruiting, program management, etc 
  • Proven ability to independently manage HR programs or initiatives from planning to execution
  • Prior experience with supporting internal Leadership Development Programs 
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, adapt quickly, and complete daily tasks with accuracy and efficiency
