ESI is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes within our organization. This role is critical to supporting our growth, ensuring compliance, cultivating a positive and inclusive workplace culture, and aligning HR initiatives with our overall business strategy.


The ideal candidate will bring a strong generalist background, exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, and a proactive approach to talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and mission.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and talent retention initiatives.
  • Manage performance management systems, including goal setting, evaluations, and development plans.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on employee relations, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Drive diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) efforts across the organization.
  • Oversee training and professional development programs for staff at all levels.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide actionable insights to improve workforce effectiveness.
  • Maintain and update the employee handbook and HR policies as needed.
  • Lead HR-related aspects of organizational change, including restructuring and growth initiatives.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and employee relations.
  • Proven ability to build trust and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and data-driven HR management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR/SPHR certification.
  • Experience working in [nonprofit, government, tech, international, etc. – tailor to your sector].
  • Demonstrated success in change management and organizational development.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills a plus.
