HR Generalist 

 


Principle Responsibilities and Expectations  

  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes including but not limited to; screening applications and resumes for department leaders, presenting offers, initiating pre-employment processing and final onboarding processing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to drive resolution and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proven ability to effectively work in a detailed, fact based environment.
  • Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations and recommends action plans
  • Resolve employee relation issues, which include coaching and counseling staff and management, guiding disciplinary action, and handling employee complaints
  • Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation ensuring consistent application of policy.
  • Respond to employee questions and concerns regarding a wide variety of issues (FMLA, benefits, safety, unfair treatment, performance, personal issues, pay, company policies, worker compensation etc.)
  • Effectively communicate in a professional manner via formal written and verbal means to all levels of management.
  • Make recommendations to improve operational efficiency
  • Customer focused with the ability to function with a high sense of urgency.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality 
  • Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures               
  • Proficient knowledge of relevant computer programs such as MS office
  • Confidence to make decisions and a strong commitment to team success
  • Possess a high level of professionalism
  • Must be punctual and dependable

Experience

  • Minimum HS diploma or equivalent
  • Must have 3+ years in successful recruiting, on-boarding strategies.
  • Must have 3 years prior experience as a Human Resource Generalist 
  • Experience recruiting in the ARM (Account Receivables Management) Industry is a plus.
