Atlantic Coast Mortgage is seeking an HR Generalist. This position is responsible for supporting all day-to-day functions of the Human Resources Department and participating in HR-related projects and initiatives as assigned. This position requires full-time, on-site work at our corporate headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia.
Job Responsibilities
- The development and implementation of policies and procedures that align with the company’s strategic objectives
- Providing guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related issues and questions
- Maintaining department compliance with all federal and state employment laws and regulations
- Conducting semi-monthly payroll processing, preparing reports, and maintaining required records
- Supporting the full life cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and screening through onboarding
- Administering employee benefit and wellness programs and promoting programs within the organization
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as an HR Generalist or similar position in a dynamic organization
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and conflict-resolution skills
- Excellent time-management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- The ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Experience running payroll and a knowledge of HR-related laws and regulations is preferred, but not required
