We are seeking a dynamic and proactive HR Generalist to support our HR Manager in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for owning a broad range of HR functions, including the majority of full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, sharing HRIS administration; driving efficiency through streamlined processes, automation, and effective use of HR technology. A professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is required, and familiarity with BambooHR is highly preferred.



This is an on-site position located in Austin, TX.


Key Responsibilities

HR Generalist Duties 

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all HR inquiries
  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires
  • Support HR compliance efforts across the board; including reporting and audits in benefits and training 
  • Assist in maintaining accurate employee records in HRIS (preferably BambooHR)
  • Support HR projects such as engagement surveys, DEI initiatives, and training programs
  • Be a second set of eyes and sounding board to ensure legal compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Support the HR Manager in all aspects of HR operations, ensuring seamless execution of daily functions and strategic initiatives
  • Understand key HR metrics and how to interpret them
  • Partner with HR Manager to identify needs and build strategies
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Professional HR certification required (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP)
  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on recruitment
  • Proven experience with applicant tracking systems; BambooHR experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of employment/labor laws and HR best practices
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Exposure to onboarding, employee engagement, and performance management tools
  • Familiarity with HR metrics and analytics
