We provide final mile logistics and service and have an opening for a result driven, employee centric HR Generalist to support our HR Business Partner.
50-75% Travel Required
Responsibilities:
- Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units.
- Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
- Partners with HRBP manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Collaborate with HRBP to conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Understand and utilize HR data to drive initiatives per the HRBPs direction.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Organize and lead employee engagement activities to support local management.
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Support and maintain the employee engagement programs and initiatives that support Temco’s organizational goals and culture.
- Maintain and communicate positive employee relations strategies and retention initiatives that foster and promote a culture of excellence.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Must be willing to travel 50 - 75% throughout designated territory

Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
- Must hold a valid DL
- Heavy driving requirements involved with meeting teams on the road
