DescriptionJob Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Human Resource Generalist to support the full life cycle of human resource activities for 100 employees in a warehouse distribution environment across 2 locations in South Carolina. This role will be responsible for general HR duties, such as employee relations, engagement, compliance, benefits administration, and performance management. The ideal candidate will be a true generalist and have a broad knowledge of the human resource function.
Key Responsibilities:
General HR Responsibilities
- Assist in onboarding new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Assist in making sure all payroll records are submitted timely by management for corporate processing. Be the first point of contact for general payroll questions.
- Support HR initiatives, including employee engagement, training, and development programs.
- Handle employee relations matter by providing guidance to management and resolving workplace issues.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and best HR practices to include I-9 management, pre-employment document compliance, EEO-1 reporting and basic OSHA documentation.
- Administer benefits programs and assist employees with benefits-related questions.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Analyzes statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of organization's personnel policies and practices
Qualifications
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS software, preferably Paycom.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and time management skills a must.
- Warehouse/Distribution experience a plus
- Ability to travel to our Myrtle Beach location a couple of times a month.
