POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for providing comprehensive HR support and guidance across a variety of HR functions that require advanced HR experience, including extensive knowledge of employment law and its application to bank policy. Specific expertise in FMLA, ADA, PWFA , and worker’s compensation. The HR Generalist will assist managers and associates will all leaves of absence, as well as other HR policies and practices. Ensures that all activities and assistance is conducted in accordance with established laws, bank policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of human resource functions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, Human Resources Certification; or equivalent experience and education.
Required Knowledge:
Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Thorough knowledge of leave and accommodation regulations such as FMLA, ADA, PWFA. Understanding of compensation and benefits policies and programs.
Experience Required:
5 + years of progressive experience in human resource positions.
3 + years of FMLA and ADA administration.
3+ years of employee relations experience.
