This full-time position is based in Albuquerque and requires at least 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. While the role follows a standard weekday schedule, there is flexibility in start time and overall schedule to accommodate the right candidate.
The HR Manager role is responsible for the daily operations of the HR department, focusing on executing core HR functions while building strong, trust-based relationships across the organization. This role supports not only the organization but the employee lifecycle processes—including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, and compliance. The HR Manager plays a critical role in maintaining a culture of inclusion and care, especially in a workplace serving both individuals with and without disabilities. Must have a basic understanding of benefits, worker’s compensation, unemployment, and a good overall business acumen. Trust and integrity are of the utmost importance for this role.
The ideal candidate will possess a collaborative work style, be communicative, care about others, be passionate, hard-working, engaged, ability to remain neutral, possess integrity, and strive to do the right thing. This role specifically requires a strong foundational knowledge of HR principles and best practices. The ability to hold people accountable and to document conversations and events.
