HR Leader

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions within the organization, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, training, and performance management. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to the President and leadership team and will play a key role in supporting the company’s continued growth and organizational development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain qualified talent
  • Oversee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, and retention of employees
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs and maintain compliance with state and federal requirements
  • Maintain employee records with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues and conflict resolution
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements
  • Develop and manage performance review processes and support management with coaching and performance improvement plans
  • Promote a positive work environment and lead employee engagement initiatives
  • Coordinate training programs and support employee development


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years in a managerial or leadership capacity
  • Strong knowledge of New York State and federal labor laws and employment regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficient with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
