We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Manager to join our leadership team and provide support across our 4 dealerships in Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Florida. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing end-to-end HR activities across 4 different sites and providing strategic guidance to management and staff. Please note, this role is completely onsite, either in office or at one of the dealerships, so up to 40% travel is required. Below is a summary of the responsibilities but not a completely exhaustive list of requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company objectives and compliance with legal regulations.
- Partner with management and staff to ensure consistent implementation of HR policies and procedures across all dealership.
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding.
- Manage employee relations, handle conflicts, and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Manage and administer the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) leave process for our employees.
- Develop and execute HR initiatives and programs in alignment with the companyβs strategic direction.
- Provide guidance to management and employees on employee benefits and compensation.
- Manage employee onboarding process including orientation programs.
- Develop and deliver training programs for various departments.
- Stay updated on employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and advising management on necessary actions to ensure the company remains in compliance.
- Maintain accurate HR records, including personnel files, HRIS data, and other documentation.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends, measure the effectiveness of HR programs, and recommend improvements.
- Participate in HR-related projects as assigned.
