Job Description

Imagine Learning is seeking a talented and experienced HR Manager to join our team in Toronto, ON. As the HR Manager, you will play a critical role in managing all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, performance management, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and performance
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify and address HR-related issues
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and develop improvement plans as needed
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Experience with HRIS systems and other HR tools
  • SHRM or CIPD certification is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
