Description

The Human Resources Manager guides the operations of the HR team and their work initiatives.


This leader must be dynamic, positive, engaging and willing to accept challenges with determination that inspires the HR team, inspires their leader colleagues and engages our team members.


Provides direction for recruitment, payroll administration, benefits, compensation, and employee relations. Collaborates with leadership on initiatives impacting our diverse workforce.


Administers the managerial functions, policies and programs under the direction of the AVP of HR reporting to the CEO.  


Focuses on establishing objectives, planning, leadership, staffing, and directing assigned departments and areas of responsibility. 


Conducts investigations related to coaching, disciplining and developing our teams while collaborating with leaders to provide a workplace that engages and inspires our team members.


Regarding integrity, the HR Manager maintains employee confidentiality. Additionally, has access to employee health information, demographics, billing, and limited clinical data relevant to the current encounter. 


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Human Services, Psychology or equivalent is required.  
  • At least five years of Human Resource experience required.
  • Hospital/healthcare experience preferred. 
  • Experience with Paylocity, Workday, or other HRIS platforms required.
  • Ability to provide analytical data related to staffing models, compensation evaluations, and recruitment metrics.
  • Experience with creating policy, job descriptions, developmental tools as well as performance improvement plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • General understanding of federal and state labor/employment laws.
  • Positive, professional attitude; outgoing personality with ability to interact with all contacts.
  • Must be detail-oriented. Ability to work well with only general or indirect supervision.
  • Ability to conduct research and develop recommendations for specific programs (Service Excellence in particular).
  • Ability to lead, guide, coach and direct the team of HR professionals.
  • Decision-making, assessment, forecasting, problem-solving, reasoning, negotiating, and logical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of personal computers and business software.
