Description

  

  1. Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the HRIS system and processing the bi-weekly payroll through Paylocity.
  2.  Oversee the employee recruitment process including posting jobs, maintaining relationships with potential hiring resources (temp agencies, technical schools, online platforms, etc.), and interviewing and screening potential candidates.
  3.  Coordinates the administration of the employee benefit programs including 401k, medical, dental, group life, long term disability, and all supplemental insurances; processing enrollments, changes and coordinates the open enrollment process with the insurance broker and appropriate vendors.
  4.  Provides guidance and support for the management team in regard to discipline and terminations, performance management, harassment, and policy violations, FMLA, and reasonable accommodations.
  5. Ensures company is compliant with all federal, state and local human resource laws and stays current on all relative human resource issues.
  6.  Ensure the employee handbook and job descriptions are up to date and all appropriate notices and policies are communicated to all employees in a timely manner.
  7. Works with Senior Management in establishing and maintaining a fair and competitive wage and salary program.
  8.   Ensure that personnel, client, donor, and volunteer files are securely stored and privacy/confidentiality is maintained.
  9. Works with building landlord (Mosites) to maintain cleanliness of the office, coordinate fire drills, and other building maintenance needs. Serves as the main point of contact with Mosites for the company.
  10. Orders office supplies for the Company on an as-needed basis. Support employee morale by maintaining snack/lunch program
  11. Serve as the main point of contact for the coffee, water, and vending machine services. 
  12. Responsible for keeping general work area in a neat and organized manner.
  13. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements

  

  1. High School Diploma
  2. Bachelor’s Degree, Human Resources Management; or combination of      education and 5 years relevant experience
  3. Experience with HRIS and Payroll software
  4. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and general computer      skills
  5. Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  6. Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  7. Thorough knowledge of laws, regulations and best practices in      employment law, human resources, and talent management.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Professional Certifications: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or Society for Human Resources Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Society for Human Resources Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)
