The Role:

We are looking for an experienced and strategic HR Manager to join our growing team at IDR. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning people strategies with organizational goals. You will play a critical role in driving talent management, employee engagement, compliance, and organizational effectiveness, ensuring that IDR continues to be a high-performing, inclusive, and compliant workplace across Puerto Rico.

Key Responsibilities:
Regional HR Leadership:

Serve as the primary HR liaison for all matters in the US, Puerto Rico, and Mexico on behalf of the company leadership.
Legal & Regulatory Compliance:

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and best practices in each jurisdiction, ensuring compliance.
Policy & Process Management:

Develop, adapt, and enforce HR policies, procedures, employment contracts, benefits, and compensation practices appropriate for each country, while ensuring alignment across all regions.
Recruitment & Onboarding:

Lead full-cycle recruitment for roles in the US, PR, and Mexico, including job postings, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding.
Performance & Rewards Management:

Oversee performance management systems, promotions, salary reviews, and reward/recognition programs across all three geographies.
Employee Relations:

Manage grievances, disciplinary actions, investigations, and terminations in compliance with applicable laws.
Onboarding & Offboarding Experience:

Ensure consistent and effective onboarding and offboarding processes; conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover to propose improvements.
Learning & Development:

Plan, develop, and deliver training and development programs—including leadership coaching, succession planning, and cultural/cross-cultural awareness.
HR Analytics & Reporting:

Monitor HR metrics (e.g., hiring metrics, retention, diversity, employee satisfaction), prepare reports for senior leadership, and use data to drive decision-making.
Employee Engagement & Culture:

Lead or support people and culture initiatives to maintain employee engagement, inclusion, and alignment with company values.
Regional Travel & Visibility:

Travel between locations as needed to maintain visibility, support local teams, and ensure implementation of HR policies.

Qualifications and Skills:
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field. HR certification is preferred.
Experience:

5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years as an HR Manager in a fast-paced environment.
Proven experience working with Puerto Rican labor law and compliance is required.
Communication Skills:

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) is essential for effective communication and compliance with local documentation requirements.
Other Necessary Skills:

• Strong business acumen with an understanding of IDR’s financial and operational drivers.
• Excellent consulting, coaching, and influencing skills to build credibility with senior leadership.
• Proven ability in management and organizational development.
• High attention to detail and discretion in handling sensitive information.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while working independently and collaboratively.
