The Human Resources Manager will lead and manage all HR functions within the automotive organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role is responsible for recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training & development, compensation & benefits, and fostering a high-performance culture across manufacturing, sales, service, and administrative teams.
Develop and execute recruitment strategies for manufacturing, technical, sales, and administrative roles.
Manage end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and workforce planning.
Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and succession plans.
Build relationships with technical institutes and automotive training centers.
Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and conflict resolution.
Promote a positive work environment and strong employee engagement.
Implement disciplinary procedures in compliance with company policy and labor laws.
Develop and oversee performance appraisal systems.
Guide managers in setting KPIs aligned with automotive production and sales targets.
Identify performance gaps and implement improvement plans.
Assess training needs across departments (production, service, sales).
Coordinate technical training, safety programs, and leadership development initiatives.
Promote continuous learning culture, especially in automotive technology advancements.
Oversee payroll coordination and benefits administration.
Ensure competitive compensation structures aligned with automotive industry standards.
Conduct salary benchmarking and compensation reviews.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, health & safety regulations, and industry standards.
Develop and update HR policies and employee handbook.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Oversee workplace safety programs in coordination with EHS teams.
Develop HR strategies that support company growth and operational efficiency.
Analyze HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, productivity).
Provide regular HR reports to senior management.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
3+ years of HR experience, preferably in automotive or manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and industrial relations.
Experience handling blue-collar and white-collar workforce.
Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in automotive manufacturing or dealership environment.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing or production systems.
Certification in HR (SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent).
