Role Overview

ACS Industries, Inc. is seeking an HR Manager for our Lincoln, RI headquarters, who will also serve as the company’s leader of HR Operations. This is a newly created role that combines local HR leadership with the opportunity to design scalable processes and strengthen HR capabilities across ACS globally.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead HR for the Lincoln, RI home office — supporting leaders and employees, driving engagement, and ensuring compliance.
  • Oversee HR Operations for ACS — owning benefits, compensation, core HR processes, and data integrity.
  • Act as a global HR Business Partner — collaborating with peers in Mexico, India, China, and Romania to harmonize practices and develop HR capabilities worldwide.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

Lincoln, RI HR Leadership

  • Act as the primary HR Manager for the Lincoln office, supporting local leaders and employees.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance on talent management, performance management, employee relations, and engagement.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships at all levels of the Lincoln organization.

HR Operations

  • Own and manage benefits administration for U.S. employees.
  • Oversee HR processes including onboarding, data management, reporting, and compliance.
  • Partner with Finance on workforce cost management, ensuring HR data and processes support accurate reporting and decision-making.
  • Continuously improve HR service delivery, making processes simple, efficient, and scalable.

Global Collaboration & Capability Building

  • Partner with HR peers in Mexico, India, China, and Romania to align and strengthen HR practices across regions.
  • Serve as a role model and trainer to help build capability across the global HR team.
  • Support company-wide HR initiatives such as performance management, succession planning, and HRIS improvements.

Culture & Engagement

  • Drive engagement initiatives and recognition programs in Lincoln.
  • Champion ACS’s core values and help embed them across the organization.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, with strong expertise in HR operations, benefits, and compensation, including demonstrated success executing HR programs and initiatives.
  • PHR or SPHR Certification, preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments strongly preferred.
  • Spanish language skills a strong plus; international exposure highly valued.
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally.
  • Proven ability to collaborate at all organizational levels, influence outcomes, and serve as a trusted advisor.
  • A team player who balances strategic partnership with hands-on execution.
  • Results oriented, gets things done in a fast-paced matrix environment, in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work in a confidential work environment
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and HR technology
