What does your role bring to the table?
The People and Culture Specialist is the expert in
providing our Guests (the Snoozers who create magic in our restaurants) with an
exceptional level of service. You are expected to deliver upon our mission to
bring out the best in our Snoozers and Guests every day.
As one of the first voices our Snoozers hear when they
reach out to the People & Culture Team for assistance, this role serves as
a champion of Snooze’s culture and a reliable, knowledgeable resource for
people-related needs across the entire employee lifecycle. You bring a
People-First mindset, a passion for service, and a collaborative approach that
supports the People & Culture function as a whole.
The People and Culture Team Specialist is an advocate of
the Snooze Compass, constantly looking for ways to uphold the standards and
excellence of the company. The Snoozer Experience Specialist is a vital member
of the People + Culture Team who will champion and execute processes and
administrative tasks that will help Snooze maintain and grow an everlasting
People-First culture. Cultivating a place to work where an individual’s

The Position Specifics
Taking on the role of People
& Culture Specialist isn’t just about bacon and pancakes. The
responsibilities of this position include:
People Operations & Employee
Lifecycle Support
- Ensure
accurate and timely administration of the full Snoozer lifecycle, from
onboarding through offboarding, to support smooth transitions and positive Snoozer
experiences.
- Maintain
employee records and documentation with care and precision to uphold data
integrity and organizational trust.
- Support
People + Culture processes that enable Snoozers and leaders to focus on what
matters most—creating exceptional guest experiences.
- Collaborate
with cross-functional partners to ensure people operations practices remain
consistent, compliant, and scalable.
Talent Acquisition & Hiring
Support
- Support
the Talent Acquisition team with job posting maintenance to ensure roles are
visible, accurate, and being managed efficiently.
- Coordinate
interviews and scheduling logistics to create a thoughtful, organized, and
welcoming experience for candidates and hiring managers.
- Respond
to employment related inquiries with professionalism and care, reinforcing
Snooze’s employer brand.
Employee Experience & Service
Delivery
- Own
the People & Culture service experience by responding to Snoozer questions
and requests with empathy, clarity, and follow-through.
- Act
as a first point of contact for people-related needs, ensuring Snoozers feel
heard, supported, and guided to the right resources.
- Champion
Snooze culture in every interaction by modeling People-First behaviors and
positive communication.
- Continuously
improve service processes to enhance responsiveness, consistency, and overall
Snoozer experience.
Compliance, Safety & Risk
Management
- Ensure
I-9 compliance and conduct regular audits to support adherence to legal and
company standards.
- Oversee
the Snooze Safety inbox, providing informed guidance on illness protocols,
workplace injuries, and safety-related concerns.
- Maintain
and distribute compliance materials (labor law posters, ID Checking Guides)
across all locations to support safe and compliant operations.
- Respond
to Support Notices accurately and on time to protect both Snoozers and the
organization.
Unemployment & External Agency
Partnership
- Collaborate
with the unemployment vendor to manage claims and provide required
documentation efficiently and accurately.
- Support
Snoozers with questions related to unemployment, offering clarity, empathy, and
guidance during transitions.
- Partner
with People & Culture leaders to strengthen unemployment management
practices and reinforce fair, consistent processes.
Data, Audits & Reporting
- Generate
People & Culture reporting to support compliance, analytics, and informed
decision-making across the organization.
- Conduct
audits of employee files, benefits, and HR programs to maintain accuracy and
compliance.
- Provide
insights and data support related to workers’ compensation, retention, EEO-1,
and other People & Culture needs.
Team Collaboration & Continuous
Improvement
- Assist
with Restaurant Support Center onboarding and file management to ensure
consistency and quality across systems.
- Collaborate
across the People & Culture team to support shared goals, shifting
priorities, and evolving initiatives.
- Adapt
to business needs by taking on additional responsibilities that advance company
objectives and strengthen People-First practices.

Let’s Talk Prerequisites! (Education, Credentials, and Experience)
- Must be authorized to work
in the United States
- 1+ years of experience in
the human resources or other relevant sector
- 3+ years of experience
working directly in food service, hospitality, or retail sectors (or other
relevant service sector).
- Human Resources Management
Certification is a plus- SHRM-CP or aPHR or higher.
Let’s Get Physical (Additional Requirements)
- Must have the stamina to
work 45 to 55 hours per week
- Tuesday through Saturday work week

Travel required for this position is approximately 10%
and you must be able to travel for up to 5 days at one time (air, car, bus.
Train, and weekend travel all required)
- Home base is in Denver, CO
at the Snooze Restaurant Support Center (3 days a week required in office)
Denver area base compensation range: $26/hour-$36/hour
The base compensation range above
represents the low and high end of the Snooze salary range for this position.
Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various
factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location,
merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular
and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Snooze’s
total compensation package for employees.
