The Council Rock School District is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to provide support to our Human Resources Department. This HR Specialist will serve as a primary point of contact for employees and is responsible for employee movement and changes in our HRIS system. This individual also serves as the representative responsible for all employee retirements, and leaves of absence. This includes providing employees with guidance and information, and with carrying out all corresponding transactions in our HRIS system and other stakeholders. The individual in this position interacts daily with Principals, administrators and CR staff, will be responsible for handling sensitive and confidential information, and is a key member of the HR team.
Duties will include, but is not limited to: completing all transactions for employee leaves, retirements and resignations, and working extensively in our HRIS system, Tyler Munis, calculating employee payroll deductions, interfacing with administrators, staff and community members.
Qualified candidates: must possess either a Bachelor’s degree or at least 2-4 years of recent/relevant experience. Additionally, the qualified candidate should have experience working in a HRIS system, strong math and analytical skills, have strong customer service skills, general knowledge and experience using excel, experience working in a high volume, fast paced office, as well as, creative problem solving skills, and strong communication skills. Knowledge of database systems, MS Office (Excel/Access), HRIS systems and strong technology skills required.
