About the Role:

The HR Specialist I plays a crucial role in supporting the human resources functions . This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of employee data, which is essential for effective HR operations and compliance with regulations. The HR Specialist I will assist in various HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee record management, contributing to a positive workplace culture. By providing administrative support and maintaining data accuracy, this role helps to streamline HR functions and enhance overall organizational efficiency. Ultimately, the HR Specialist I will help foster a supportive environment that enables employees to thrive and succeed in their roles.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of administrative or clerical support experience
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous internship or experience in a human resources role.
  • Familiarity with HR software and databases.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings and scheduling interviews.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HR information system to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials and assisting with training sessions.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Collaborate with other HR team members to implement HR initiatives and programs that enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Assist with creating presentations, letters and reports
