Description

YRCI is seeking full-time Human Resources (HR) Specialists (Policy) to support our client located in Washinton DC. The qualified candidate shall:

  • Assist in developing and coordinating HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Federal regulations and for operational HR processes for Executive and non-Executive hiring programs to include Quality Control (QC) measures.
  • Perform all necessary review and analysis, including conducting interviews and research, and engage in appropriate coordination with agency HR personnel regarding current policies.
  • Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
  • Work with HR personnel with excellent customer service skills to assess to assess their needs; provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, and satisfy their expectations.
  • Is open to change and new information; adapt behavior or work methods in response to new information, change conditions, or unexpected obstacles; effectively deals with ambiguity.
  • Contribute to maintaining the integrity of the organization; display high standards of ethical conduct and understands the impact of violating these standards on an organization, self, and others; is trustworthy
  • Show understanding, friendliness, courtesy, tact, empathy, concern, and politeness to others; develop and maintain effective relationships with others; relate well to people from varied backgrounds and different situations; is sensitive to cultural diversity, race, gender, disabilities, and other individual difference.
  • Understand and interpret written material, including technical material, rules, regulations, instructions, reports, charts, graphs, or tables; apply what is learned from written material to specific situations.


Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with HR policies and procedures.
  • Bachelor's degree required. Additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Experience writing policy documents.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, email applications, and Windows Operating Systems.
  • Obtain and maintain the government required background investigation
