About The Team

You’ll be joining the JD.com team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What You'll Do
This internship provides hands-on experience in full-cycle HR operations within a high-volume logistics environment, supporting 200–250 employees across multiple New Jersey sites.

  • Act as the primary HR support for 2–3 warehouses in New Jersey, shadowing the HR lead and supporting 200–250 employees.
  • Assist in managing full-cycle HR processes, including recruitment administration, onboarding, and documentation for performance management and offboarding.
  • Review and reconcile employee timecards, ensuring accurate attendance tracking and related compliance matters.
  • Support the handling of employee relations issues and conflict resolution by documenting investigations in partnership with leadership.
  • Provide initial HR guidance to managers and employees on company policies, procedures, and basic compliance with federal and state regulations.


About You

  • Graduated or currently enrolled in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; prior internship or part-time experience in HR is a plus.
  • Chinese Mandarin speaking is a plus (but not essential)
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to learning and task completion.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); willingness to learn HRIS, ERP, and payroll/timekeeping systems.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
