We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join our team in Amarillo, Texas. As a Human Resources Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our organization by managing the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) policies and procedures, providing exceptional onboarding/offboarding experiences, and managing extensive data. Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language
- Onboarding/Offboarding
- Limited staff training during New Employee Orientation (NEO)
- Extensive data management
- Report creation
- Maintains personnel files
- Workers compensation
- Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
- Adheres to TPC Business Code of Conduct and reports concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised
Required qualifications to be successful in the job:
- High school diploma or GED
- One semester (12 credit hours) of accredited college work; or minimum of eighth grade reading comprehension level as evidenced by score on the Adult Basic Learning Examination (ABLE) test
- Two (2) years of Human Resources experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

- Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred qualifications to be successful in the job:
