PVB Fabrications, Inc. (PVB), a direct hire, multi-disciplined industrial construction, and metal fabrication company, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Assistant.


About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive HR Assistant to support the day-to-day functions of our Human Resources department. This role plays a key part in keeping HR operations running smoothly, maintaining accurate employee records, assisting with recruitment efforts, and supporting compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to HR-related emails, phone calls, and internal inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting jobs, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Facilitate employee onboarding to ensure a positive new hire experience.
  • Maintain employee records and documentation in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including scanning, copying, filing, and organizing digital files.
  • Support the preparation of HR reports and compliance documents.
  • Work with Safety and field teams to update and manage the ISNetworld database.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety training records.
  • Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Assist with company events, special projects, and ad hoc HR tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing.
  • Ability to work overtime when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Human Resources or in an administrative support role.
  • Degree / Certification in Business or Human Resources
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems such as ADP, Paycom, or BambooHR.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus.
