Description

We are seeking an HR Assistant to join the team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for an individual looking to launch their career in HR and gain hands-on experience across various HR functions. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Vice President of HR and ensuring a positive experience for our employees.

Ultimately, we are looking for someone who's not just checking off boxes but is genuinely excited to contribute, learn, and grow. Someone who understands that HR isn't just about rules and paperwork; it's about people, and making their work lives better.

What You'll Do:

  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support t, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing HR-related documentation.
  • Talent Acquisition Support: Assist with candidate sourcing efforts, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interview schedules.
  • Employee Engagement: Support the coordination and execution employee meetings (townhalls, roundtables, 1:1), ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.
  • Communication & Correspondence: Monitor the HR email inbox, respond to general inquiries, and escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Benefits Administration: Provide administrative support for benefits programs, which may include assisting with enrollment, answering basic employee questions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Internal Communications: Draft and distribute various employee communications, including weekly and monthly newsletters, announcements, and other HR-related updates.
  • Data Management: Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records in Paycom (HRIS system).
  • Special Projects: Participate in and support company wide projects as assigned.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • A proactive and positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Ability to multitask in an ever changing environment.
  • The knowledge that we all make mistakes, it is how you recover and learn from them that counts!

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Prior internship or experience in a Human Resources department.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Paycom, Workday, ADP, BambooHR).
