Description
  •  

  • Responsible for pre-employment screenings, including background and reference checks. 

  • Assist with new hire onboarding and assimilation.  

  • Report new hires to state and federal governments. 

  • Provide front desk coverage at lunchtime on in-office days and when the Receptionist is out of the office. 

  • Process personnel actions to Payroll. 

  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information. 

  • Process employment verifications. 

  • Assist with special HR projects (salary surveys, position descriptions, HR-related research). 

  • Attend weekly meetings. 

  • Monitor department email account; addresses employee questions and forwards emails to other HR team members as necessary.   



Requirements
  • 0-2 years progressive Human Resources experience. 

  • Dedication to TRI team and customer service values with a strong emphasis on responsiveness, professionalism and diplomacy.

  • Proficient in both verbal and written communication.

  • Capable of working independently as well as within a team.

  • Skilled at time-management and multi-tasking to meet deadlines and achieve deliverables.

  • Experienced in safeguarding highly confidential information.

  • Embraces a collaborative approach and excels at supporting and empowering other team members.
