SUMMARY

Havtech is looking for a positive, collaborative Human Resources Assistant to join the team. This position will be responsible for a variety of entry level HR administrative tasks to support the business. This position is ideal for a talented candidate looking to launch a career in HR and join an upbeat, fast-paced, fun team.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other functions may be assigned.

  • Assists with project administrative and executive assistant tasks.
  • Assists in hiring processes such as interview coordination, preemployment documentation, new hire setup requests to IT, assembly of new hire packets and orientation materials, and supporting new employee orientations.
  • Manage the process of conducting tech clearances
  • Coordinates company events, luncheons, meetings and training
  • Assists with updating HR and personnel records, including filing, submitting employee status update requests, and processing of employee requests.
  • Assists in answering employee questions and resolving frequently asked questions to standard policy, benefits, processes, etc.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


QUALIFICATIONS include the following:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Great opportunity for a recent graduate with interest in launching a career in Human Resources.
  • Must have PC experience in Windows environment, working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Web-enabled applications, database software and willingness to adapt to new technologies.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks to meet competing deadlines in fast paced environment.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Desire to learn/take on additional responsibilities and projects.
  • Must be a positive team player, who enjoys working with people and wants to grow with a great HR Team!
