Description

River Crest Country Club is seeking a full-time Human Resources Assistant to join our HR Team.

Located five miles from downtown Fort Worth, River Crest is Fort Worth’s oldest and most storied country club.

River Crest offers an excellent Compensation & Benefits Package as well as a great work environment. The pay for this position is BETWEEN $20.00 - $23.00/ Per Hour. Our comprehensive benefits program includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability plans, YMCA membership and Flexible Spending Plans (FSA). These benefits begin the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Additionally, full-time employees receive Paid Time Off (PTO) and are offered participation in our 401(k) plan.  All employees enjoy Chef-inspired meals in our staff dining room.

JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resources Assistant provides general administrative support to the HR Team.  With a variety of administrative and compliance-oriented duties the position provides support in the functional areas to include, but not limited to, employee benefits, talent acquisition, worker’s compensation and the HR/Payroll system. The Human Resources Assistant is expected to perform all responsibilities with a commitment to providing superior service to the Club’s management and staff. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & WORK REQUIREMENTS

  • High school education + at least 2 years HR experience is the minimum requirement.
  • Ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive information
  • Knowledge of and experience administering HR policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of HR compliance areas such as FLSA, FMLA, ADA and ACA
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Able to work independently with flexibility and willingness to learn and to take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks and tolerating frequent interruptions
  • Must present a neat and clean personal appearance
  • Must have timely, reliable attendance
  • Must have a professional, courteous & respectful attitude toward members, guests, vendors, co-workers and supervisors

 

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES / FUNCTIONS / TASKS

  • Assist with the talent acquisition process
  • Assist with the new hire onboarding and the New Employee Orientation
  • Assist with benefits enrollment
  • Assist with a variety of HR projects as assigned
  • Assist with the employee recognition and rewards programs
  • Maintain employee information in the HR/Payroll system with a high level of accuracy
