POSITION SUMMARY 

The Human Resources Assistant Manager supports the Human Resources Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of human resources functions for GGRM, with a primary focus on the northern Nevada GGRM offices. This role serves as a key on-site HR presence, providing recruiting leadership for the northern Nevada market, managerial support to Northern Nevada office staff, and day-to-day HR and office management support. The Human Resources Assistant Manager acts as a trusted partner to leadership and staff, ensuring consistent application of Firm policies, procedures, and culture.


Salary Range


$94,000 - $118,000 base, depending on experience


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Managing and leading recruiting efforts for the northern Nevada offices, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and hiring recommendations.

• Partnering with the Human Resources Manager and Talent Acquisition Specialist to execute strategic recruitment plans aligned with Firm needs.

• Supporting onboarding activities for new northern Nevada hires to ensure a smooth and consistent new-hire experience.

• Maintaining accurate recruiting, hiring, and employee documentation within HR systems.

• Serving as the primary human resources point of contact for northern Nevada-based employees by providing guidance on Firm policies, procedures, and HR-related matters.

• Assisting with employee relations matters by gathering information, documenting concerns, and escalating issues to the Human Resources Manager as appropriate.

• Assisting employees with benefits-related questions and supporting benefits administration efforts.

• Maintaining accurate, complete, and compliant employee files and HR records.

• Providing on-site managerial support to northern Nevada employees by reinforcing Firm expectations, professionalism, and workplace standards (without direct supervisory authority).

• Supporting general office management functions for the northern Nevada office locations, including coordination of office needs, communication support, and issue resolution.

• Coordinating and supporting local office events, trainings, and Firm initiatives as needed.

• Serving as a liaison between the northern Nevada offices and Firm leadership to ensure clear, consistent communication.

• Assisting with the maintenance and implementation of human resources processes, policies, and procedures.

• Supporting timekeeping, attendance, and schedule compliance in coordination with HR leadership.

• Staying informed on applicable employment laws and HR best practices and communicating relevant updates or concerns to the Human Resources Manager.

• Assisting with audits, reports, and compliance-related documentation as requested.

• Participating in the administration and oversight of the progressive discipline process 

• Participating in and coordinating the offboarding process for northern Nevada-based employees, including leading termination meetings as directed, preparing and maintaining required documentation. 

• Supporting Firm-wide human resources projects and initiatives as assigned.

• Performing other duties as assigned.


Requirements

 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

• Minimum of 3–5 years of human resources experience, with recruiting and employee support responsibilities, or equivalent training and management experience.

• Strong knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and employment laws.

• Demonstrated experience with recruiting and hiring processes.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to support employees at all levels.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

• Proficiency with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and related technology.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
