Lenape Valley Foundation (LVF) is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our growing Human Resources department. This is a newly created, exciting entry-level opportunity designed to support the continued growth of our organization and HR operations. It offers an exciting opportunity for someone interested in building a career in Human Resources while contributing to meaningful work in a mission-driven organization. The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team, with a strong focus on recruitment and onboarding activities. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented individual who enjoys interacting with people at all levels of an organization.

  • Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week
  • Preferred hours: 4 hours daily, Monday–Friday
  • Location: On-site at our Doylestown, PA office

Your Role

  • Provide administrative support to the HR Department
  • Assist with recruitment activities
  • Support new hire onboarding processes and paperwork
  • Utilize professional job boards to source potential candidates 
  • Communicate effectively with staff and management at all levels
  • Assist with general HR projects and office support tasks as needed

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong administrative assistant skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable speaking with potential candidates, employees, and leadership
  • Professional, courteous, and confident communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities with a sense of urgency for time-sensitive matters
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
