Position Summary

On behalf of CNS Cares (“CNS” or “Company”), the HR Business Partner is responsible for being the first-line point of contact to support the delivery of Human Resources solutions by partnering with all other functions within Human Resources. In addition, this position is responsible for consulting with regional leadership, providing daily HR guidance, analyzing trends and metrics, resolving complex team member relations issues, improving work relationships and productivity, and suggesting HR strategies. This role will act in the capacity of HR consultant and assist in aligning regional HR practices with business goals to support the organization’s success.


Essential Functions

  • Consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance within designated region.
  • Resolve complex team member relations issues and address grievances.
  • Analyze trends and metrics with the HR department.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide HR policy guidance.
  • Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning.
  • Identify training needs for teams and individuals.
  • Evaluate and develop training programs and implement based on divisional needs assessments.
  • Suggest new HR strategies.
  • Respond to unemployment claims and CNS representation at all unemployment hearings for assigned divisions.
  • Support supervisors with development and implementation of progressive disciplinary action.

  • This position requires extensive written, verbal, and nonverbal communication skills.
  • Critical thinking skills and business acumen are expected.
Requirements

Education/Training

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least two (2) years of applicable HR experience; or five (5) or more years of applicable HR experience in lieu of degree

Licensure/Certification

  • SPHR or PHR preferred.

Experience


Required:

  • Minimum three (3) years general HR experience
  • Multi-State HR experience
  • Strong Communications Skills

Preferred:

  • Human Resources experience within healthcare preferred

Travel Requirements:

  • Approximately 10% travel
