ALK Source Materials, Inc., a leading manufacturer of quality allergenic biological source materials, and a member of the global ALK group of companies, is recruiting for our open Human Resources Business Partner position. Join our stable and growing company and provide leadership and expertise to our workforce located in our 150,000 square foot facility in Post Falls, ID.
The Human Resources Business Partner is part of the Global People & Organization Department and the local Post Falls site leadership team, and reports to the Senior Director, Human Resources – North America. The position is generalist role, responsible for providing a diverse range of professional HR support to the Post Falls, ID facility. The position will be highly collaborative with the Post Falls leadership team and provide guidance and true business partnership in every aspect of HR management including, but not limited to HR Policies/Procedures (Employee Handbook), recruitment/talent acquisition, organizational review and development, performance management/review process, HRIS entry and reporting (Workday and ADP), employee relations, employee investigations, employee events, along with compensation and benefits. The position also works closely with International and Regional HR teams to develop and implement HR Initiatives, Projects, and Programs.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and 3-5 years of relevant HR experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Candidates will possess relevant working knowledge of HR principles and practice, along with Federal and State employment laws and regulations. Operating with honesty and integrity, excellent verbal and written communication skills for all levels of the organization, and adaptability to change in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment are key competencies for this position. Proficiency in MS Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Must also be able to travel domestically and internationally (5%-10%).
All positions at ASM require the ability to comfortably work around live, stinging insects, allergenic antigens, hazardous chemicals and solvents and laboratory reagents.
