This is a remote, work-from-home position. Responsibilities of the HR Business Partner:
- Proven ability to build strong partnerships across all levels of an organization, from frontline managers to senior leadership, fostering trust and collaboration.
- Strategic advisor to all departments of Bryan University through a solid understanding of how the institution succeeds.
- Work closely with university leadership to lead strategic initiatives in talent management, organizational development, and performance management.
- Demonstrated skill in coaching and mentoring managers and employees to build a high-performing, inclusive culture.
- In depth knowledge of multi state laws.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and principles to develop and implement effective policies, including employee relations and career development.
- Ability to create and maintain a positive workplace culture that emphasizes engagement, inclusivity, and shared values in compliance with labor laws and university accreditation.
- Other special projects, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements of the HR Business Partner:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years management level experience in Human Resources.
- SHRM-CP/PHR certification is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in Higher Education is strongly desired.
- Strong presentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative environment.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- Ability to work in a virtual environment using software technology including but not limited to virtual meeting tools, such as Zoom, Gmail and Google Docs.
- The ability to efficiently operate a computer and its peripheral equipment.
- Ability to sit or stand for six to eight hours.
- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
